He is very scrappy and you cannot outwork him on any given day.

 Business History
I must give credit to my close friend Carl "HOGAN" Fontaine. Five years ago I was working in Panama City with my uncle Jack who owns Primo Bait co. Knowing that his right hand man had been with him for a number of years , and I probably would not advance my position in his business, I started to investigate Destin. Knowing the growth potential here steered me to meet Hogan. Anyone who knows Carl will tell you he is not the easiest man to approach. Not only is he a rather large man, but his reputation as being direct and telling it like it is kind of man is intimidating in itself. To make a long story short , he gave me a chance to show him I can make him proud and run the business after his retirement. If it wasn't for this opportunity, I would not be able to call Destin home like I do. I'm forever in debt to this man for this and owe everything to him. My conscious is clear when it comes to holding up my end of the deal , and Carl has been a patient and trusted friend to me in the process of this transformation. Carl has done alot in his life and I will always respect that .

So thank you Carl , and I'll always consider you a great friend for giving me this opportunity to serve the fishing fleet here in Destin .We've grown to a fleet of four from a single man constantly fighting off competition .Now everyone knows we will be there every day mother nature allows us to, hence our saying "come hell or high water" , and trust me when I tell you we have had both.

With the obvious growth and demand for live bait here in Destin, we promise to do whatever it takes to be the largest and most accommodating live bait fleet our area has ever seen .Each day I'm on the water , I anticipate that first call on the VHF like it was my first day of school or something. We are all very passionate about what we do and serving the greatest fleet anywhere is an honor for us all. Challenge us. We are up to it. Sit back Carl , and be proud of what you started , and always remember we know how we got here.

I got to tell you , I've worked on the water in a few places. If it wasn't for the great bunch of fisherman here we wouldn't be able to operate the way we do each morning on the beach. Patience and cooperation are so important to making every morning run smooth. Our customers remind us as to why we live and work here in Destin and our fisherman should be proud to be a  part of it all as we are.
